I had a photo as a default before just because it is important for people to know in a vague detail of what I really do look like, but I am glad that I put some time aside to make one! I'm glad you like it.
Spaghetti monster power! I currently have a lovely cat named Tabitha- there's a fuzzy picture of her in my gallery somewhere in the beginning. I like dogs but I don't want one as a pet. They cause stress, one way or another. Cats are even cheaper too, all the more reason to love them. You also don't need to hire a catsitter. If you're gone, it'll deal with it and then act normal toward you when you're back.
I saw that picture! She is a nice cat, from the little I saw of her. The reason I have never had a pet is because my father doesn't want me to have one, he is worried about the mess and the smell - I am almost old enough to have my own house, so I will have to wait until then. I agree, also, that cheaper is almost always better. (unless it is something I intend to eat - eww.)
I was a dogsitter once, the most adorable shitzus I have ever seen, but they were the most annoying dogs I have ever had to deal with - they were as hyper as a bat out of hell and needed constant supervision and attention or they would make as much noise as they could in their cages.
She is a very nice cat! Totally perfect for me as well. I would personally try to convince him anyway. Cats don't emit much of a smell at all, ESPECIALLY just one. If you have a litterbox in some place where there's an open window or in a bathroom, and you clean it everyday there is seriously no other smell. A bigger deal than the smell is the fur, really. If you get a fluffy one you will be able to stuff a pillow with how much they shed! However, mine is shorthair. c:
They're so cute, but not something you want to have. I personally favor small dogs, but my family has fucking DANES. xD I love them so much but they get on my nerves.
I have tried to convince him my whole life, ever since I was a little girl, but he is a stubborn man and hates to talk about subjects he has already said no to. I will be alright until after I move out - it is only two more years until I am 18 and in a university. All of my friends have cats - persian, tuxedo, mixed - but the closest thing I have ever had to a cat is an old stray who lived in my front yard and I almost owned.
How can a cat be perfect for someone?
I favour small dogs also, big dogs frighten me at intervals.
It all depends on the way that you are. Maybe if you want a cat to be clingy toward you then the way you raise it will cause it to follow you around and cuddle with you constantly- sleeping in your bed with you and memorizing your schedule. Your cat can serve as a security system, screaming bloody mary at anything outside of your house, or it can follow you along on walks to keep you company. Etc. It all depends on who you are and what you consider to be a perfect cat.
I'm very used to them now. They're massive and very loud, but I'm not scared of them.
